I adhered the paper with mod podge both front and back - yep, the paper looks just like that, didn't add a thing (except for the initials). I then sanded the sides so it's smooth and 'finished'.
After it was dry, I applied a layer of glitter mod podge; love that bling and sparkle! :)
I then wanted to keep the initials very simple and not overwhelm the paper as I think the paper alone is very pretty; so I cut them from some lime decorative paper I had. Adhered them with mod podge also.
This is for a co-worker that is going back to college to finish her teaching degree. We gave her some fun, gag items and then some more serious items.
