With Sympathy + GYDOMAR142011

WOW; that's one lengthy title eh?  :D

Verve had a challenge in March to use all neutrals with a pop of color; seems I'm always in need of sympathy cards, so this is what I created.  I used all 3 sizes of the flowers from Verve's Great Friend set and stamped them onto DP, cutting out each layer.  I added dimensionals to each layer for a great 3D effect.

The card is very simple using PTI's Smokey Shadow, Pure Poppy and some ledger paper from my stash.  I added pearls to the center of the flower and also 3 small pearls below the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you're having a great week!  Hugs, ~M.

WHAT'S IT TAKE?
Stamps:  Verve Visual Great Friend and Forever in Our Hearts
Papers:  PTI Smokey Shadow, Pure Poppy and DP by MME
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  pearls, EK Success deep border punch

Wow, this is gorgeous Michele. I love how you've layered those flower petals. I think sympathy cards are so difficult to make but you always do a beautiful job on them.

Beautiful card Michele...I love that sentiment. Unfortunately I could have used that a lot recently. The pearls at the end of the sentiment really finish it off nicely. xx
