LTSCB #146 - No Rulz 4

Oh this is FUN - No Rulz over at Love to Scrap Challenge Blog, would you join us? I have PLENTY of patterened paper and I decided to pull 2 pieces out that were similar and find a way to use them. On one I used Glimmer Paste and Shimmery Goodness on the other. It is next to impossible to pick up the glitter paste in a photo, but it's there.

I stamped the flowers, then embossed THIS background in white over the flowers; I love this background because it is clear, so you can see easily where you are stamping. I mounted the designer paper and added some pre-made birthday banners I had - LOVE this set and being able to get so many birthday greetings at one time!

I also used this fun die for some extra dimension; I left some leaves whole, others with only part of the leaf. Almost forgot, I embossed both backgrounds with this Mama Elephant Scales die.

I hope you will join us at Love to Scrap this month, it's a great / easy challenge!

MIUCB #50 - Stamping

Hi friends! Hope you can join us this month at Mix It Up - we're focusing on 'stamping', so hopefully lots of friends can join us!

Did you see recently the postcards Jennifer McGuire created? She has a free template you can download and use too! I printed several and created lots of postcards with this SSS Sketched Flowers - all different colors. I'll share the others over time; they were super fun to make!

This one was embossed in white and watercolored with Karin markers. I used sentiments from the Written in Ribbons stamp set and a color wash for the background.

I hope you will join us at Mix It Up this month, it's a great / easy challenge!
