Crafts 4 Eternity - banners or bunting

Hi friends, hope you are having a great week!

This week at Crafts 4 Eternity, we have a great recipe using banners or bunting, aren't they all the rage right now? One lucky participant will win 4 images from Sassy Studio Designs just for joining the fun, don't miss your chance to win!

I used this adorable digital image from 2 Cute Ink - Angel Fish Doodle, I copied and resized it two more times for an adorable small school of fish. Seriously-cutest fish ever!!

I used a white piece of Gina K 80 lb. card stock and sponged on a layer of Tumbled Glass distress ink, then I layered on a circle stencil and randomly sponged circles with more of the Tumbled Glass for random bubbles. Once dry, I added a layer of MFT shimmer mist which I painted on with a large paintbrush. Can you see the amazing shimmer in this photo?

The main image was cut with MFT's pierced oval and colored with Copics, the fish were accented with a white gel pen and clear Wink of Stella was added to all the fins/tails.

I sponged more circles and added a fishtail banner to the inside. Some random enamel accents, 3 layers of a Verve Visual banner tied off with hemp cord finish it off. Thanks for stopping to visit, hope you take some time to join the fun! Have a great weekend.

Hugs,

Ladybug Crafts Ink - Billie Bear

Hi friends!

This week at Ladybug Crafts Ink we are celebrating by featuring Billie Bear, there is a Billie Bear for every occasion you can possibly imagine - balloons, knitting, comfy chair, get well AND there is even a Baby Billie Bear - adorable; check them out HERE.

I'm using Sweet treat Billie Bear. Adorable, yes?

Does the layout look familiar? LOL; I loved it so much from the card below that I used it again adding in some additional layers...and that's where CAS went all wrong - HA!! I loved the various papers and wanted to stick a few on there, they are SIMPLE LAYERS - LOL!

The center panel is dry embossed and highlighted with PTI's Fresh Snow Ink. Billie Bear was colored with Copics with some clear Wink of Stella added to both hearts as well as glossy accents. Black dimensional enamel for the eyes and a fun little wood chip heart accent which I colored with Copics and also coated with glossy accents (a little cloudy because I "might" be impatient in allowing it to dry), some stitching finishes the card off.
Thanks for stopping by; hope you'll join us at Ladybug Crafts Ink, we adore seeing your creations!

Hugs,

JUGS and MFTWSC together!

MFTWSC185
Hi friends, how was your weekend? Mine was good; our youngest daughter returned homed after being gone for 8 days - she had a blast and is full of stories!

I found a little time this weekend to make a fun birthday card inspired by JUGS250 color combo (Turquoise, Green, and Lime) and MFT's Wednesday Sketch Challenge #185.

I used Verve Visual's "It's a Cupcake Kind of Day" for the image and inside sentiment, papers are from two different MME 6x6 paper pads. I paper pieced the entire cupcake adding a bit of shading and lots of dimension (you can see the dimension particularly in the side photo). The cherry was colored with Copics, added a layer of clear Wink of Stella and covered with glossy accents. A bit of sewing and some delightful enamel dots from both MME and Doodlebug finish the card off; I decorated the inside carrying over the pattern paper, image and the sentiment from the stamp set.

Inside

3 layers of dimension

Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a great week!

CAS(E) this Sketch

This was an older sketch from the CAS(E) this Sketch blog, super quick and simple. I used a piece of washi tape in the middle, embossed the flowers and colored with Distress Markers, removed the washi tape and stamped the sentiment from PTI's Big and Bold Wishes stamps set with Pure Poppy ink.

That's it - have a super weekend!

Crafts 4 Eternity - Lots of Laughs

Hi friends - we have another great recipe at Crafts 4 Eternity, hope you'll join us! This week we ask that you make any card or project with humor/jokes. Check out what the design team has created, I promise multiple chuckles which is a GREAT WAY to start your Friday, right?

I just wanted you to know "I don't have issues...I have a lifetime subscription!" LOL; that is just too too funny! I have so many great zingers and I rarely use them - thanks for the push Michele! I made a little 4" x 4" card with some super fun flowers from Verve Visual, Hope Blooms; the sentiment is from MFT Stamps, Twisted Foursome. I cut lots of flowers, colored with Copics, layered with dimensional tape, added glossy accents and some rock crystals to the center. Girly, blingy and fun(ny)!

I used Curtain Call's inspiration photo for the colors - lots of white space included...yeah me! :D
Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a great weekend!

LCI - Babies

Hi friends! I am thrilled to report Michele did not 'take me out' last week; in fact, she was so very sweet and kind. I work for some AWESOME folks!!!

I'm popping in with a mid-way reminder of "Babies" for Ladybug Crafts Ink; love these adorable images - this is probably my favorite - LOVE that butt in the air. ADORE!!

I chose some gender neutral colors, combined the image with PTI's Phrase Play #3 and just had fun! I cut the "hello" and "arrow" several times from white card stock then a final time from MME designer paper and glued them all together - your very own embellishment. I then added a coat of glossy accents for some shine and fun!

The sweet baby image was colored with Copics and layered onto another white scalloped circle. Everything was mounted with dimensionals, finishing touch was some sequins and fun flock for the baby blanket. :D

Thanks for visiting; hope to see you again soon! And don't forget, there is still time for you to join the fun - HERE!

Crafts 4 Eternity - SPORT

Hi friends. Pretty sure my boss over at Crafts 4 Eternity would like to shoot me bright and early on this lovely Friday...but let's not focus on that...unless you don't hear from me for a few weeks.
From Millan.Net

Here's hoping she forgives me!

Meanwhile, we have a super fun recipe this week - create any project with a sports theme or image - easy peasy! And just for playing along, one person will win 3 free downloads from Stamping All Day!

Our youngest daughter plays volleyball (well, lives, breathes, plays, dreams, etc.); she developed 2 really close friendships this year during club season, but one of the girls we have continued seeing regularly this summer playing sand volleyball and tournaments together as well as doing strength and conditioning together. Below is our daughter in the middle, the friend she has continued to play with his on her left, #8 - she's a doll as is her family!

She's a cheerleader and a REALLY good one! She attends a different school and their colors are green and yellow so I made a little treat sack for her. Isn't it dainty and cute - just like her! The treat bag was created with MFT's treat sack; the image is from Ladybug Crafts Ink - both were made with PTI's Rustic White; the image was colored with Copics, added some clear wink of stella to her pom poms and then cut the image out and mounted with dimensionals. I splattered the treat sack with two new Mr. Huey's mini mists - Banana Stand and Guacamole (I love guacamole...wait, that's a whole other subject - ha, but fab names)!

Super quick and easy; we're going to stash a little treat in it and give it to her next time we get together. She's trying out for a new activity at her school so we thought this would be perfect to push her along!

Thanks for stopping by; hope you'll join the fun over at Craft 4 Eternity - go ahead, leave a note asking Michele (owner) to spare my life... OY!!!

Have a great weekend, it's my birthday Saturday and I. LOVE. BIRTHDAYS...more than any other day of the year - SERIOUSLY! :D

Hugs,

Verve Red, White and YOU inspiration

Hi friends; for those here in the US did you have a GREAT 4th of July? We did - it's been a nice, long weekend - it's been busy, but it's been really good!
Verve has a great inspiration photo - RED, WHITE AND YOU! I had a bit of time to play with my stamps and inks so I wanted to participate. I LOVE this paper, I purchased it...uh...a...long...time...ago...from Taylored Expressions and finally pulled a piece out to use. I love those fun, funky circles and color. It's got a bit of a beige cast to it, but hey, I made it work. :D

I used MFTWSC183 for the layout and incorporated fun colors from the designer paper. Hawaiian Shores die is from Verve Visual as are the flowers - stamps and dies - Bloom and Grow. The flowers were stamped with the rock and roll technique - they turned out funky eh? I thought they looked like a bit of watercolor and added to that 'handmade' look of the card! A dark chocolate hand cut banner and some stitching across the top finishes it off.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a GREAT week!
