Another Pink and/or Red Equals Love for LTSCB 130

And I'm back with...you guessed it, another Honey Bee Gift Card Present Box. You can see the first one I shared HERE. Aren't these colors so delicate? This time I stamped a sentiment in TE Cupcake ink.

Mix It Up - More Stenciling

I am back with one last post using stenciling; these cards mimic the last two cards (pink / blue); but this time I used a different stencil and a different product over the stencil - Gina K white glitter glitz. You can find all the deets on the previous two cards HERE and HERE!

Enjoy and thanks again for stopping by!

Red and/or Pink Equals Love - LTSCB 130

Red and/or Pink equals love, PARTICULARLY when it comes with a gift card. ;) HA!

Hope you will join us this month at Love to Scrap where it's pink and/or red; we have lots of inspiration for you!

I have so enjoyed this Honey Bee Gift Card Present Box die set; I will be making these for every single occasion and for no occasion at all - a GREAT way to use up the last pieces of 6x6 paper pads I may have. I don't make a lot of 3D items, but I am really enjoying this one - in fact, I made a total of 3!! I'll share one with you today and over the next week, share the other two. SO. MUCH. FUN.!

On the insert of this one, I stamped Happy Valentine's Day and some hearts in Versamark and covered with Gina K white detail powder. The sentiment and hearts are from an older Verve Visual set (they are no longer in business) but I sure love the look of those hearts!!

Thanks for stopping by; hope to see you again soon as I have lots of posts lined up for you! Have a great week!!

Mix It Up - Anything Goes or Stenciling

Hi friends!

Hope you can join us this month at Mix It Up - it's Anything Goes or Stenciling...and I LOVE me some stenciling. I actually have 4 cards to show you using 2 different stencils, 2 different products with the stencils and a few other variations. I'll spread them out and share each over the next few days - hope you'll come back and view them all!

I have two cards which use the Splash Stencil from Taylored Expressions, the other two use the Square Dance Stencil from SSS. The one I am sharing today is a pink base using the Splash Stencil; tomorrow, I will share the EXACT same card but with a blue base.

I used Dreamweaver Pearlescent embossing paste for the background, goodness the shimmer in this is amazing! The white border, circle sentiment and flowers are all from The Greetery; goodness, I love these stand alone dies and this floral set - so unique and just beautiful; the entire floral cluster is super easy to stamp; I always make at least 4 clusters at one time, typically using different colors.

*PLEASE NOTE* these cards were 100% CASE'd from Kelly Lunceford.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you will join us at Mix It Up as we whip up something with stenciling...or ANYTHING GOES!

Happy Fri-YAY with Butterfly Blossoms

Hi friends - hope this post finds you doing great and looking forward to the weekend!

I'm not typically a butterfly stamping chick, but I really adore this set from Reverse Confetti, Butterfly Blossoms. I made a couple cards with it as soon as I received it; I really enjoyed coloring the large image.  I actually colored the butterfly without a second thought to the rest of the card - HA, anyone else do that? Turns out I LOVED it layered on the Altenew Red Ombre washi tape. I then added in some various designer paper and a partial doily.

The 'spots' are Minc toner mist, but instead of misting, I removed the nozzle and got some great splatters. Once dry, I added gold foil and ran it through my Minc machine, I finished the card off with various Nuvo drops.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a great weekend!

Snowy

Penny Black's Snowy has been my favorite snowman for years...and then they released a die and I'm still in love!

I enjoyed using distress oxide inks to blend a background and simply cut some snowbanks for little Snowy. The images were colored with Copics and colored pencils on watercolor paper. I stamped snowflakes in the background with Versamark then embossed greetings from Right at Home (Peace Love Joy).

I also splattered on some white paint and used a white gel pen to add decorations to the scarves, finished it off with some PPP Marshmallow Confetti Mix.

Such fun, colorful holiday cards!

Thanks for stopping by; have a GREAT week!

A Little - yet Big - Color Throwdown

I love Colorado Craft Company's Big and Bold stamp line, they have some gorgeous images! I also love inspiration from the Color Throwdown challenge blog; these two begged to be paired.

Now...am I happy with the outcome? Um...not so sure about that, but I'll tackle it again soon! I watercolored the image initially and REALLY didn't like that, so I finished it off with colored pencils and of course, some glossy accents for that scrumptious strawberry!

Hope your week is off to a great start, see you again soon!

Love to Scrap #129 - Anything Goes

It's every one's favorite over at Love to Scrap - ANYTHING GOES! These are always such fun, we love seeing your entries!

I didn't create a ton of Christmas cards this year - in fact, I usually don't - life is hectic in and of itself. :D

But for this card, I did have fun adhering various pink and red card stocks at a diagonal and cutting out this adorable merry merry merry die from The Stamp Market and to take it up a notch, I made it into a shaker card; the mixed sequins are from Taylored Expressions (it's a Valentine mix that appears to be sold out, but I've linked to some other options). The Christmas sentiment also comes from The Stamp Market (older set) and is embossed on True Black card stock with Gina K white embossing powder.

Thank you for stopping by; hope you will join us with your OWN creation at Love to Scrap!

Mix It Up Challenge - Paper Piecing

Welcome back to another super fun Mix It Up challenge where you can enter Anything Goes or a Paper Pieced project. My project is not a paper pieced project, but it's one I absolutely love creating; maybe you will give it a try!

I took a kraft and white polka dot bag, 6.5" x 5", folded up the bottom and stitched around 3 edges; hence creating two pockets. I love using scrap papers to make these gift bags; I used some ephemera I purchased recently and used it to decorate the bottom portion.

I used The Greetery pre-printed speed tagging Christmas sheets and matching die for all the tags; the smaller ones are in the lower pocket and the larger ones are in the top pocket - so fun! And some of the pre-printed sheets aren't 'too Christmas-y' in my opinion, so I added lots of different sentiments. Ultimately, there are 21 tags inside the sack; even better, they can use the tags and hopefully use the sack again to gift something to someone else!

Thank you for stopping by; hope you will join us at Mix It Up this month!
