Happy Valentine's Day?

Oh wait...that's not right, but tomorrow (2/22/13) is HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the hubster and me! Twenty-one amazing years; I AM BLESSED! :D

But honestly, this is the last V-Day card I made for a dear friend; I just haven't been able to post anything since my surgery on February 13.

Surgery? Yeah, that DID NOT go as we hoped and I had lots of anger to work through and a few people that provided insight that WAS NOT helpful - LOL; but I am feeling much better, I'm back to work and in about 6 weeks I'll begin to have use of my arm again...needless to say, I'm counting down the weeks and doing my physical therapy every single day...I really am a GOOD patient!!

But I digress and crafting makes me much happier, so let's talk about this card! It's got glitter, washi tape, those fabulous American Crafts die cuts, some Verve goodness - gosh, just lots of happiness all over!

I used a quickie glue pen to add glitter around the Hawaiian Shores piece. I used the Verve Pennant Trim Die and then used the arrows from Borderline to stamp on each pennant - cute eh?

I don't own any large flag dies, so mine are all hand cut...and never quite even - tee hee; oh those flags are certainly on my wish list!!
Meanwhile, hope you have a great weekend!

Hugs, ~M.

  1. Glad you are at least somewhat on the mend, Michele, and sorry to hear the surgery did NOT go as you'd hoped. Thanks for sharing this sweet card -- red and aqua always look great together, don't they?
