Big & Bold Cupcake - Pink Frosting

Hi - remember THIS card and I said I would stop back in and share the other one I made...here it is and I included a photo so you can see the shaped card.

Love this big and bold cupcake from Colorado Craft Company - can't wait to use it again! I used the die to make a shaped card and worked on my copic coloring. I added a couple layers of clear wink of stella glitter and some glossy accents.

I did a wrapper like this one other time; white with various sized pink polka dots - I LOVE polka dots!😍

Thanks for popping in; I appreciate your visit!

See you again soon!

CTD643 - blue and green roses

I absolutely love the color combo at Color Throwdown thtaylos week, LOVE! So much, I saved it to my color inspiration on Pinterest. 😊

I used 3 Roses from Rubbernecker - I don't see it on their website any longer, but they have several with the same type watercolor look. The image comes with a solid image you can color and stamp over the roses and leaves, but I enjoyed coloring with Copics and colored pencils.

Before I stamped the image (in TE Earl Grey), I used TE's bokeh stencils in Salt Water Taffy, Sprinkles and Mint Julep, all from TE.

Once I finished coloring, I used VIBES from Stamp Unity in the same colors, some in 2nd generation,  and added some fun mixed media images. I then splattered with black ink, mounted on black card stock and finally on a Salt Water Taffy vertical card. The hello (Reverse Confetti Cup of Friendship) is stamped in VersaFine black.

Thanks for peeking back in; see you again soon!

Cupcake - good enough to eat!

Hi friends - hwo are you doing? I am doing really well...I have my 2nd major oral surgery next Friday, May 28; thankfully, it's Memorial Weekend so I'll have an extra day to recovery!

I ADORE this big and bold cupcake from Colorado Craft Company. I used the die to make a shaped card and I just love it. I used it to work on my copic coloring; I also did one with pink frosting - I'll share it later this week.

I colored the 'wrapper' in rainbow colors, made a chocolate cupcake and had tons of fun coloring the lemon wedge and berry. 😊

I added a couple layers of wink of stella clear glitter to the frosting and some glossy accents to the lemon and berry.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you will come back when I share the pink frosted cupcake.

See you again soon!

All the layers - but PINK!

Remember when I shared THIS card and I told you I had made a pink version? Here it is, I love it just as must as the blue one!

I stamped a ton of flowers and greenery using the Signed and Sealed with a Kiss stamp set from The Greetery. The envelope and seal come from THIS set, the postmark comes from THIS set. I die cut the postal frame from heavyweight white card stock and blended on some sprinkles ink; popped up with fun foam onto some soft stone designer paper. The envelope was embossed with white embossing powder, the seal was embossed with liquid platinum embossing powder. I used a 2 way glue pen and sprinkled on glitter

Once I had all the pieces and parts finished up, it was a matter of assembling. Oh yes, I finished the berries off using a variety of Nuvo drops.

PS - why did my font change? 😐😖

Love to Scrap - Anything Goes

Hi there, thanks for stopping by! This month at Love to Scrap, ANYTHING GOES - always a favorite!

Remember THIS card? I created another one using different colors and different embossing folder - this one says SPRING to me! Raise your hand if you're ready for some gorgeous temps? 🙋

I also colored this one with Copics, softer colors. I blended Sprinkles ink on the background and a bit brighter blue, Gumball, on the focal point.Very clean and simple; I used Nuvo drops to finish off the berries.

See you again soon!

Layers - all the layers for MIUCB

Hi friends! IT. IS. MAY.

Serioulsy, how did we get here? Goodness, this year is flying by!

This month on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog, we're focusing on layering, I love me some good layers! AND I made two cards pretty much identical, just switched out colors. I'll show you the other one a little later. I guess you could say I am enamored by the sparkle on this card - HA! My cards were inspired by Kelly Lunceford.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you will join us this month with some layering cards!

See you again soon!
