I went with a female themed project. I started with a piece of Tim Holtz water color paper and cut 3 scribble circles from PTI and layered leaves from MFT, adhered in a pattern I liked with temporary adhesive to the card base then sponged on some Spun Sugar, Mustard Seed, and Bundled Sage; I then sprayed the entire base, including the scribbled circles and leaves with MFT's Sheer Shimmer Mist. Once dry, I lifted the die cut pieces and offset them slightly so a bit of the original white background was showing - LOVE! Such fun and a technique I can see myself using time and time again!
Card inspired by Julie Stainton!
I added a simple embossed sentiment - and you can see it ended up fitting right over one of the die cuts so I left that piece off. Where the small portion overlapped the one leaf, I just used a black Sharpie to finish out the sentiment right on top of the die. A black embossed strip and some gorgeous sequins finish it off. Thanks for stopping by - hope you have a GREAT weekend!
Hugs,
