Repeat Impression SOTW - His Words

Happy, happy Monday! How was your weekend?  Ours was good; but VERY busy.  Kaitlyn had a basketball tourney about 45 minutes away and we had 3 games each day.  We were gone 12 hours on Saturday and about 10 hours on Sunday.  Now I must return to work so I can get some rest!  :D

This week at The House That Stamps Built we're sharing the Stamp of the Week - His Words.  You can purchase this same image for 50% off this week only, so be sure to stop by The House That Stamps Built to get all the deets.

I stamped the image on GKD Cream and cut it out with a nestie and then layered it on the circle nestie - isn't that cool.  I decided to thread some baker's twine (twice) through all the holes, this was not my original intent; however, in between planning my original intent and actually putting the card together, it all got lost in my brain!  HA!

The circle die border down the sides is a die from PTI; it looks so cool IRL as half is sponged with Antique Linen and Pumice Stone distress inks, then the other half is sponged with Bundled Sage.

I have to admit, I looked this quote up online and found the entire poem; very interesting yet I don't really know what it means.  I'm "guessing" it relates to the actual person in the poem, Uncle Ananias.  Has anybody read this poem; can you share any insight?

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to hop over to The House That Stamps Built to check out the great deal AND see all the other amazing creations by the Rock Stars!

...poems and wisdom....Hugs, M.
