Yes, red and I white I can do as our daughter is a HUGE Boomer Sooner fan (yep, that's their colors), AND this little girl is turning 15 this weekend so I went in a totally different direction than the rest of the team (no surprise really - HA) and made her a little birfday card. Yes, birthdays are pronounced birfdays at my house!
Here's a picture of our youngest daughter this past weekend; she and her besties had a "photo shoot" on their bucket list, so for promotion, all the families went together and made the photo shoot happen - it was a complete blast. This picture was taken in our driveway, but the 'real' photos will be up on Facebook (Michele Hibler Greenwood or you can catch a few of the pics over on Instagram, whimsical_creations) if you want to watch for them. Anyway, this is her promotion dress; the first half of the photo shoot was in their dresses; the other half was casual outfits in which they all coordinated with the color "mint"; each girl wearing one article of clothing that was mint colored. Too cute!
OK, sorry - I obviously got mega distracted...so back to my card. I wanted to do something different than I've ever done before - so I embossed a sunburst from her age outward AND I did the ombre color effect - cool eh? I used Distress Inks for the ombre colors: Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Barn Door and Fired Brick. Love how it made the sunburst lines really pop!
The entire card was stamped with Sentimental Numbers - 70% off you fools (we call that cray, cray), but really, all cling stamps are 70% off right now!! Anywho, I stamped the large bubble numbers in PTI Pure Poppy and the smaller numbers in Memento Black. I stamped her age on a nestie, colored with Copics (in an ombre effect) and covered in glossy accents - tough to see the ombre effect, but its there.
Ta da - red and white; hope it fits the bill...for the Bugs and our daughter!! :D Join the fun, create a red and white card today and if you use a Ladybug Crafts Ink image, you increase your chances of winning! And if you don't have any? Well, don't forget, there are digis, but again, those cling stamps are all 70% off!
Have a great week; thanks for popping in!!
Hugs,
