Dance

Tonight we had no practices and no games...ah, delightful! I even fixed a "real meal"; I'm certain the children wondered who the woman was in the kitchen!  :D

In fact, I fixed a few things so that we have some leftovers - yummy!

And as a side note, you know how to tell people do not read EVERYTHING you write? Cuz I'm having a contest HERE and I've only had 2 or 3 entries, lots of comments but not many entries...and trust me friends, if you're not the crafty type, I'll send you a prezzie that isn't crafty, so come on peeps, join the fun!

Anyway, after cooking, checking homework, and catching up with the babes, I snuck downstairs for some momma time! Life has so gotten in the way of my crafting so it felt sooooooooo good to just create! I used Tosha's card for inspiration, HERE...yeah, not sure I could ever stamp like her but I sure CASE'd (copy and share everything) it pretty hard! LOL The layout is Week 3 of the Viva la Verve challenge.

Lots of distressing - both hard distressing as well as ink distressing, zig zag stitching, bows, twine, lace, a button - oh delightfully vintage don't you think? Oh my and how could I EVER forget that doily - you know I love them! It was originally white but I stained it vintage to match my color combo.

Great quote eh, "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain!"? I couldn't resist using musical paper to coincide with the quote. The die cut on the doily as well as the matching stamp (in cream), the quote and the "friend" are all from various Verve Visual stamp sets.  LOVE. THEIR. STUFF!

Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a great week!

... vintage...like me ...  HA!

Hugs, ~M.
