Oh, what a GREAT day this is going to be - Kerry (Head Ladycow...um, Ladybug - they're the same thing across the pond - who knew?), anywho, Kerry has a brand new stamp release and I PROMISE they will make you giggle! I'm using the "I'm Not Asleep" Wrinkley; he's adorable and comes with 3 different sentiments.
Let's get the rules for the Blog Hop out of the way, then we'll peek at my creation!
1. Visit each DT member and leave a comment on their blog hop post,
2. Leave a comment on the Challenge Blog (HERE) and tell us which image is your favorite (or you can list 2 or 3 cuz there are lots of cute ones),
3. Display the blog hop banner from the Challenge Blog (HERE) on your blog or side bar.
And as a side note, if you like any of these, grab them quick as Kerry will have them listed at a "special introductory price" for one week and one week ONLY!
First place will receive ALL 6 STAMPS - gulp! And 3 randomly picked winners will receive one stamp of their choice.
WHEW - that's some serious rubber Kerry is giving away and aren't these images not just the cutest? I love them so much!!
Hopefully you have reached my blog from the mega-talented Mary; if not, be sure to start at the very beginning, HERE.
Now let's get moving to the fun eye candy - so much I love about this image!! He is so stylin' in his leisure suit, that fashionable chair, mega gorgeous rug and of course, his eyes ARE. NOT. CLOSED., he's just resting them. HA!
I paper-pieced his magnificent chair and newspaper, I even aged the edges of the newspaper just a bit with my Copics; the remainder of the image was also colored with Copics. I also aged the DP with VersaMagic Sahara Sand and a bit of Jumbo Java. I added some fun and funky stitching around the outside and some Glossy Accents to his glasses. The layout is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #133.
I have always decorated the inside of my cards, but Mary is the QUEEN of decorating the inside of the card to be as beautiful as the outside...I didn't go that far, but I did add a few more layers to the inside! :D Proud of me Mary? LOL
Next up on the hop is the pinkalicious Pinky! Hope you enjoy yourself along the hop and be sure and let us know which image(s) you like best - there are LOTS of cute ones! Have a great week!
... I'm not Wrinkley, I'm just well worn ...
Hugs, ~M.
