Hi friends! For those celebrating Thanksgiving, I want to wish you and your loved ones a beautiful day!
I am in love with the color combo at Just Us Girls this week (image below) - swoon! My hubby left town today, so it was our oldest daughter, our son, and myself in town. We were invited to spend the day with our son's girlfriend's family - follow that? They have been dating just over 2 years so we have been around them a few times but today was ALL THE PEOPLE and so much fun! AND so much food!
I made 12 of these gift tags for the mom and gave them to her with a large candle. I'm told she likes candles as much as I do!
I used a ton of different products on these tags, a couple different stencils and an embossing folder for the front of the tags. I created birds in both Aqua Mist and Confetti Cake; I used PTI Vintage cream and TE Sugar Cube (mainly Sugar Cube) inks to sponge the tags - either directly on the 3D embossing or through stencils.
I added a blank tag and some additional stamping on the back side. Thanks for stopping by!
WHAT'S IT TAKE:
Hi friends - hope you are doing great! Thanks for popping over today; the Mix It Up team is showcasing 3D projects. I recently purchased The Greetery Stationery Box which I used to hold these 3 amped up Christmas cards (amped up = lots of dimension)! I always think 3D projects that you have to assemble can be a bit tricky...and this remained true. 😆 I didn't get the 2nd side adhered perfectly so I had to do a tiny bit of trimming.
Once assembled - yes, after the fact - I remembered I wanted to lightly stencil the front. Sheesh! I also added some stenciling to the 'lid / flap'; hard to see, but it's there, it goes straight up and down, whereas the box is at a diagonal. After photographing, I went back and added more of the Moonshine sequins.
WHAT'S IT TAKE:
Only two more Love to Scrap challenges this year and this is one that everyone loves, ANYTHING GOES! We hope you will join us!
This is another card front that I worked on during a crafty retreat, this brings together all 3 flowers from the Sketchbook Flowers set. Again, I tried to mimic water coloring by using Copics. The background is a brick stencil, I sponged on TE Poppyseed ink in various spots. I didn't have any thin twine, this one is kind of bulky, but I made it work! Once home, I layered onto a card base.
Thanks for stopping by; hope you are doing well! And don't forget to join us at Love to Scrap!
