BUT I was determined to make a bright and happy card! Our youngest daughter has a co-worker that is leaving the company, she really likes this co-worker so I made this card for her. Our daughter didn't work Saturday, but it was her co-worker's last day, so she drove about 20 minutes one way to deliver the card and tell her goodbye - sweet!
I used that smooshing technique that I love so much with Black Soot in the background. Once dry, I spritzed with water and blotted up the excess, then I added drops of Tattered Angels in shimmering white; it fades back to be very, very soft.
I cut a white frame using Lil Inkers Dual Stitched dies, just taped the 2nd and 3rd sizes together. I also cut the same frame from fun foam for extra dimension. The flowers were stamped on Ranger water color paper and colored with Zigs, I added some white gel pen for accents and then assembled all the pieces. BTW, the far left flower has the stem turned upside down - HA - I wanted it to curve the other direction, but didn't think about it before I stamped the image so I 'made it work'!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
