Happy Valentine's Day?

Oh wait...that's not right, but tomorrow (2/22/13) is HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to the hubster and me! Twenty-one amazing years; I AM BLESSED! :D

But honestly, this is the last V-Day card I made for a dear friend; I just haven't been able to post anything since my surgery on February 13.

Surgery? Yeah, that DID NOT go as we hoped and I had lots of anger to work through and a few people that provided insight that WAS NOT helpful - LOL; but I am feeling much better, I'm back to work and in about 6 weeks I'll begin to have use of my arm again...needless to say, I'm counting down the weeks and doing my physical therapy every single day...I really am a GOOD patient!!

But I digress and crafting makes me much happier, so let's talk about this card! It's got glitter, washi tape, those fabulous American Crafts die cuts, some Verve goodness - gosh, just lots of happiness all over!

I used a quickie glue pen to add glitter around the Hawaiian Shores piece. I used the Verve Pennant Trim Die and then used the arrows from Borderline to stamp on each pennant - cute eh?

I don't own any large flag dies, so mine are all hand cut...and never quite even - tee hee; oh those flags are certainly on my wish list!!
Meanwhile, hope you have a great weekend!

Hugs, ~M.

Glad you are at least somewhat on the mend, Michele, and sorry to hear the surgery did NOT go as you'd hoped. Thanks for sharing this sweet card -- red and aqua always look great together, don't they?

Sorry to hear you're not too happy about your surgery. Hope it helps whatever it's supposed to and you heal quickly. Cute card!
