A dear co-worker asked me to make a multi-ethnic card...she was thinking kids in various colors...boy, did I struggle with that! Finding an image that would work was next to impossible (in my mind, without purchasing new things...and I REALLY don't need new things - LOL). I found some great 'kid' images, but I basically needed several kids that I could color as needed.
It was my last night to make something and I went searching and found this image which I used on the front of the card. Isn't it fab?? It was perfect for what she requested AND there is NO STAMPING on this card - well, the inside says "Happy Father's Day"; but that's it - pretty cool I thought!
I did lots of layering and used my Scor-Pal for the pattern on the red card stock. You can find a tutorial for a very similar background at Thinking Inking (<-------click here).
I hope you're having a great week; we have ballgames every night this week and a tournament Saturday and Sunday - whew - exhausting.
Thanks for peeking in; I so appreciate your time! ~M.
well done!
