I just love the fun colors from the image so I made my own little colorful cupcake and incorporated the colors throughout the card. AND I was clearly in a doodling mood as I added lots.
I stamped this sweet cupcake from a retired MFT set, It's a Cupcake Kind of Day, masking off the cherry; I then stamped the image 3 more times on to various designer paper and paper pieced it all together. I embossed the green circle with a birthday embossing folder and added some white gel pen doodling. I cut the candle and flame using
MFT's Birthday Candles die. I added a bit more doodling for sprinkles on the cupcake and finished off the frosting and flame with glossy accents; the rest is self explanatory with MORE doodling around the outside of the card base. Sprinkled on some enamel accents and we're good to go with a quick birthday card.
Thanks for stopping by; we can't wait to see YOUR creations at
Cupcake Inspirations!
Hugs,
