Crafts 4 Eternity - Buttons, Beads and Bling
Hi friends - long time, no talk...yes? I'm glad you stopped by!
I have a fun little shaker card using Crafts 4 Eternity recipe of buttons, beads and bling - I used rock crystal glitter, sequins, buttons and some rhinestone gems. Got it going on! :D And just for playing along this week, YOU could win 3 free images from Crafty Sentiments Designs.
I used Jennifer McGuire's newest video about shaker cards to make my card. I used some Wendy Vecchi embossing paste covered with liquid platinum embossing powder for the main panel - don't those gold dots look delightful - LOVE!!! I stamped my image on a piece of acetate and added 3 buttons (BTW, someone PLEASE tell me what ink works on acetate besides Stazon??? Over 24 hours later and the ink was still wet, so I embossed it - HA)!! Anywho, I also used Jennifer's recommendation to glue a few 'shaker' pieces in place so they don't all fall to the bottom.
I used the cut out circle from the main panel on the inside, cutting another circle within, adding a sentiment and one little ornament with an embossed bulb.
Fun - not necessarily a quick card, but definitely fun. Thanks for peeking in; hope you have a GREAT week. Take care!
Hugs,

Accessories: black Sharpie, liquid platinum embossing powder, Wendy Vecchi embossing paste, polka dot stencil, MFT pierced circle dies, PTI buttons, Verve Visual Sequins, rock crystal glitter, misc. rhinestones

TPE267 + SSSC235
Hi there!
I have an order for 88 cards and if you've followed my blog for long, you know I DO NOT like to make the same card twice. :D But I loved the inspiration from The Pink Elephant this week (see below); pink, yellow and black - scrumptious! AND a fabby sketch from Karen last week, SSSC235 (see below).
I made a set of 4 note cards using just those colors and the gorgeous LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers from MFT. They came together quickly - I pulled various MME designer paper and a small bit from Echo Park and went to work cutting, distressing, stamping, die cutting and then put them altogether. One pink and 3 black/smokey grey. Fun, quick and simple!
Thanks for stopping by; I hope you have a great week!
Hugs,

Gettin' Krafty over at Ladybug Crafts Ink
Hi friends - how are you doing? We had an absolutely whirlwind weekend filled with a wee bit of stress - glad its over, just need to recuperate...and do the laundry. Not sure WHY the laundry fairies never take care of this issue for me. :DWe have a new bi-weekly challenge up over at Ladybug Crafts Ink - use kraft cardstock. I adore kraft cardstock... a lot...and I love that you can have kraft envelopes too - delightful!
I needed a birthday card and love this Nikki birthday image (70% off in the store - WOWZA); I stamped the image onto kraft cardstock using Memento Rich Cocoa and colored her up with a mix of Copics, colored pencils and spica glitter pens. I used some ribbon from Verve Visual which is somewhat kraft-y in color. I added a double bow and tied on a red button with some twine to finish it off.
OK, seriously - did you laugh at the sentiments on the inside? :D
Layout comes from The Pink Elephant - TPE224; cute layout. That's it, I'll see you again this week, until then have some fun...get inky with some kraft cardstock and join the fun at LCI!!
Hugs,
