TE Floral Sketch + ctd644

Hi friends - hope this note finds you doing well! I recently pulled out Taylored Expressions Sketchbook Florals; I wanted the card to look watercolored...without watercoloring. 😁😁 I used Copics to color the florals and tried not to be exact; even  using dots for the shading. The awesome background is from The Greetery, Shiplap Builder Die. I cut the planks from regular white card stock - look at that awesome pattern. Once cut, I ink blended some Taylored Expressions Toffee onto the edges. The sentiment comes from Taylored Expressions Field Notes, shiplap pieces were adhered to PTI's kraft card stock.

LTSCB - Anything but a Card

Hi - thanks for coming by today!

This month at Love to Scrap, we are focusing on Anything but a Card; I went to my favorite go-to project - TAGS, all the tags! I created 2 'jingle balls' (HA, so makes me laugh) tags and 3 of the adorable Christmas tags from Papertreyink. I also cut a back tag and blended on various Taylored Expression inks, added a 'to' and 'from' greeting from The Greetery Speed Tagging stamp set and pulled them together with some Papertreyink ribbon. I also used a polka dot stencil on the front tag along with some Taylored Expressions glitter

MIUCB - Paper Piecing

Hi friends - how are you? I'm doing great!

This month at Mix It Up, we're focusing on paper piecing...a fave technique of mine and I'm so excited as the ENTIRE cupcake is paper pieced! I adore this Big and Bold Cupcake from Colorado Craft Company; I used various designer papers just hanging around in the studio. The frosting and cupcake are actually the exact same paper; I colored over the paper with brown copics for a chocolate cupcake. I added lots of shimmer to the frosting, black enamel for the strawberry seeds and coated it with glossy accents.

And can I just say - I would love some cupcake wrappers with those bicycles, aren't they just the cutest!?!

Thanks for stopping by; hope you will join us at Mix It Up this month!
