Color Me Crazy - and yep...I went crazy!

Hi friends! It's another fun coloring creation for Colour Crazy Challenge! For this challenge, I'm using the sweet Purple Balloon from Ching-Chou Kuih.

But boy, do I have a doozie to share with you! I knew I wanted to color this dress in rainbow colors - did that, loved it! Then I did the hair, loved it! Then the eyes and, 😖 THAT'S where it all went wrong. I tried a few things to fix it, but couldn't; however, I still wanted to share the coloring with you, because regardless that it was an ultimate fail, I was proud of the rainbow dress. 😉

Hope you join us at Colour Crazy Challenge, we always love seeing your creations!

See you again soon!

More Easter Cards

Hi! I promised to return and show you the detailed Easter cards I made for my friend - these were super fun. You can make this wreath for EVERY season throughout the year and the dies, again like the Bunny Hop dies shown yesterday, offer lots of variety and flexibility. It's not often I enjoy mass producing, BUT when you can change up small details - like the colors of the greenery or mushrooms - it makes it fun.

I stamped all the wreaths at the same time, changing up colors as I mentioned - and same thing, I die cut them all at the same time. In my head, I wanted a really soft yellow background - don't ask me what happened, but I used watercolor and it turned out SUPER bright. LOL WHY I did not ink blend on the yellow, I will never know. I splattered on some color and then thought about it for a few days and decided to add vellum to tone it down a bit. I sewed the vellum to the water color paper; heat embossed the sentiment and adhered the wreath with fun foam. As you can see, I cut the card layer with 3 different dies; only two shown here - but it added a nice variety to the cards.

Thanks for stopping by; let's see if I can pop in more than once a month - that's my goal! With the loss of my father, moving my mother - twice in less than 90 days - changing jobs, and regular life, things have been a bit crazy!

See you again soon!

LTSCB - Spring Forward

This month at Love to Scrap, we might be springing forward, but I'm HOPPING forward. 😉 Hope you will join us!

I had a friend ask for 10 Easter cards, so I took this chance to use several, new to me, stamp sets from The Greetery. First up, these super fun bunny cards; the die gives you so much flexibiliy, but I took a page directly from Betsy V. and created almost identical cards. I had already made 6 super detailed cards, so I kept these very simple.

Stop back tomorrow and I will show you the detailed cards I made using more fun products from The Greetery!

I used the Bnnny Hop stencils and blending brushes to add the bunnies and kept going from there changing up the greens I used for the greenery - won't these bunnies be great for baby cards too? So fun! And again, like Betsy, I added the eyes and noses with a sharpie. Die cut the inner portion of the bunnies and stamped the sentiment in the middle. The card base is from PTI, Vintage Cream

MIUCB - No Stamping

Hi friends! I hope this post finds you and your family doing well!

After 8.5 years; I changed jobs...please note, I AM NOT a young chick; but I DID IT. Totally new industry, but what I do, that isn't all that critical. Anywho, fun adventures!

This month at Mix It Up, we're creating cards with NO STAMPING; I don't think I've ever made a card with no stamping. 😄 I have a couple jars on my desk that hold lots of ephemera and bits and pieces I have stamped but haven't used...yet. I sat down and pulled out lots of things that I liked and started making a little collage. It was all finished, but when I sat down yesterday (several days later), I decided to add the larger rainbow in the upper left. I like all the rainbows and happy colors.

The two sentiments are from Simon Says Stamp and were cut with various dies from The Greetery. In the full picture, you can see how incredibly sparkly the bird is; the wing is actually a heart, but you can't tell until the close up photo! I added a border to the top and bottom with a sharpie.

Hope you will join us this month; we would love to see your creations!

Thanks for stopping by; hope you and yours are safe and healthy!
