You are Weird...

Oh my gosh; I find this Big Grumpy set from Taylored Expressions absolutely hilarious! Soooo many sentiments for the sign; I love it!

The girls and I are ALWAYS talking about it being 'too peopley' out there (another one of the sentiments); particularly as Christmas was approaching - like trying to go to the mall...with the other 487,439 people in our city! UGH!

A very CAS (clean and simple card) letting Big Grumpy and the sign take center stage and remember, we are ALL weird, never change! :D

Hope you have a great week!! Thanks for stopping by!

Prayers

Hi friends - I truly have a ton of cards to share; finding the time to write a blog post is HARD!!

This is a card I actually made months ago - before my shoulder surgery...which was August! A pretty straight-forward card with lots of layering.

The leaves are a die cut from The Stamp Market, the 'prayers' and sentiment are from an older Hero Arts set. I cut the leaves from vellum, left some whole, added half of the leaf back on others; the word 'prayers' was die cut from white card stock and embossed 3 times using Ranger Liquid Platinum powder. I stenciled some flowers in the background, they peek out just a bit.

Thanks for stopping by; here's wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays!

Vegetable Stamping Gone Wild - MIUCB #32

Check out the UBER fun challenge over at Mix It Up; it's always Anything Goes but if you really want to have some fun - then stamp with vegetables!

I didn't actually 'stamp' with vegetables, but I did use green beans for the background, I thought they sort of match the sweet panda's confetti (I should have made them smaller, then they really would have).

I started with Tim Holtz water color paper and adhered the HAPPY stencil from Heidi Swapp (I have had these frame stencils forever); I blended on some Worn Lipstick Distress oxide ink, then applied my green beans - literally just laid them on the paper.

I used some sprays I have had forever and one didn't really 'spray' but gave a FULL STREAM of color (insert palm to face emoji) - LOL! Once I was done spraying, I let it dry then removed the stencil and stamped 'birthday' in VersaFine ink. I stamped, colored and die cut the panda and added with dimensional foam.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a great week ahead and can find some time this month to join us!!

BINGO Tags - LTSCB #128

Oh boy - this is a super fun challenge - so many options playing BINGO; hope you will join us at Love to Scrap! We are sponsored this month by The Paper Shelter!

The Paper Shelter

Just pick a letter, B-I-N-G-O and use at least 3 elements within that letter - see, LOTS of options! I made these tags, 100% CASE'd from Elizabeth (poshtadesign on Instagram); I literally CANNOT wait to make more, I adore how they turned out! OK; here's where my tags fit in the BINGO game:
B = red, die cut, green
N= die cut, blue, silver

On the bottom tag (one full piece), I sponged carious distress inks then stamped 'to' and 'from' from The Greetery Speed Tagging Christmas Sentiments. Before adding the sentments on the outside, from the same stamp set, I added glitter to the trees and all over the snowflake; for the ornaments, I added glue and springkled on silver tinsel glitter.

Sure hope you can join us this month, we always love seeing your creations. Thanks for stopping by; have a great day!
