Crafts 4 Eternity - Tic Tac Toe

Hi friends - it's a great weekend to join us over at Crafts 4 Eternity where we are playing Tic Tac Toe!
One lucky person will win 3 digis from Crafty Sentiments Designs! So come along and play, this is an easy recipe! :D You can choose any three in a row - vertical, horizontal, or diagonal...just not 3 random squares!

I used the upper left to the lower right - something old, the color blue (teal) and something new. My old could be a couple things - the falling hearts stencil or the Project Life Cards. My new is the silver thread and the heart dimensionals - they're cute eh? My blue...well, a few colors of teal, aqua, blue.

I stenciled using the falling hearts stencil, layered on a wad of silver thread (wad - sounds pretty technical! HA!), layered a couple Project Life cards, added some doodling with my white gel pen and a few heart dimensionals and voila - a completely clean and simple card - not to mention quick!

Hope you'll join the fun this week; we love seeing your creations!

Hugs,

Crafts 4 Eternity - Seaside

Greetings friends - hope you are having a great week! Our youngest 2 started school and our oldest moves to college TOMORROW; needless to say, it's been an emotional week. Haven't shed a tear though! :D Yeah me!!

This week at Crafts 4 Eternity, our recipe challenge is projects with a seaside theme or element - perfect for what I created!! And don't forget, just for playing along, one person will win their choice of 2 images from Stamping Boutique. I used to design for them, they have FABULOUS images; hope you'll join the fun!

Our oldest will be living in a 2 x 2 suite at college, we had already made a gift for her roommate but then the girls decided to get a little something for their suite mates. Therefore, I made these little gifts which say "just cruising by" and on the inside, "to say hi!". What a fun treat!

The bags are filled with whipped cream soap and nail polish, the school colors are purple, grey and white, so I thought the 2 different colors of nail polish would be perfect! I colored the sail boats to match the bags and used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Party Banners cutting the smaller tag from PTI's Hawaiian Shores with the score line just past the crease to it created a card tag; then cutting it again with one pass through PTI's Raspberry Fizz and Hibiscus Burst. I then cut circles from the pink card stock, added a white nestie circle in which I stamped the sail boats. I colored the images with Copics and added some white gel polka dots to the one image. The pink layers are mounted with dimensional foam so I could add the waves, also from Taylored Expressesions.

Lots of fun; hope the girls enjoy them and thank YOU for popping in - have a great weekend!

Hugs,

Arrrr Matey!

Hi friends!

Welcome back to a surprise release from 2 Cute Ink! Heidi has created some ADORABLE pirate images - you can see all the images as well as the design team creations at the blog - HERE. We're also having a recipe challenge - RED, ORANGE, and BLUE.

I am using Pirate Mouse - cute, cute, cute eh? And I do not like mice, but seriously, who would not love this image! I colored the image with Copics and a sparkly gel pen for his hook, the layout is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #231 (SSSC231). The papers are from MME (Cupid's Arrow) and are actually love themed - you'd never know it huh? They worked perfectly for my little mouse.

Thanks for popping in; hope you check out all the creations and images at 2 Cute Ink.

This is a card set I made several months ago - but the image? It's OLD, so old that I can't even find it on the maker's website anymore, guessing it's retired? :-/ It's cute and swirly and pretty! The image is from Unity. It was stamped with VersaMark ink and embossed with Zing Rouge powder. The sentiment is from PTI's Big and Bold Wishes and was stamped with MFT Jellybean Green, a little birdy was added from PTI's Little Bitty Bird set; I added some shading with Copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by; won't you join us for a simple recipe at Crafts 4 Eternity? We love seeing your creations! Have a great weekend!

Crafts 4 Eternity - Anything Goes

Another easy peasy recipe at Crafts 4 Eternity - ANYTHING GOES; everyone loves that recipe and we love seeing what you create. Be sure to stop by the blog to see if you were last week's winner AND be sure to play along this week!

stamping all day

This weeks prize is kindly donated by Stamping All Day! One randomly selected winner will receive 3 downloads from their fabulous collection.

I made this wedding card quite some time ago but haven't shared it - a bit of mixed media thrown in for good measure. :D

I used the falling hearts stencil for some various colored modeling paste hearts and sprinkled on clear embossing powder; once they were dry, I heated them for a nice glossy finish. The heart is a shaker with lots of "X's" and "O's" showing through the vellum. The world "love" was cut numerous times from white card stock and once from blue, I added clear Wink of Stella and glossy accents to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by; hope you'll join the fun at Crafts 4 Eternity!

2 Cute Ink - Country Horse 2

Welcome to the first post for the new design team for 2 Cute Ink - Heidi has truly adorable images and I'm so excited to be a part of this group!

This week we are all using new images by Heidi - horses and there are some seriously cute horses in this release. You can see all the new images HERE as well as many other cute images too!

I am using Country Horse 2 - LOVE the cowboy hat and 'kick up your heels' horse! I decided to make the image super fun by combining it with PTI's Shakers + Sprinkles - I added some silver stars - to match the silver star on the horse, some pink sequins and some faux confetti, they look just like real confetti you would sprinkle on cupcakes. I added a happy birthday sentiment to the front as well as a "sprinkled" message to the inside.

Be sure to pop over to the 2 Cute Ink blog to see all the amazing images and meet the new design team. Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a GREAT week!

Crafts 4 Eternity - sketch it!

Hi friends! Welcome back for another fun recipe from Crafts 4 Eternity! This week, Michele has a sketch for you to play with - you can go CAS or layer it up - you choose!

One lucky participant will win 3 free digital images from Crafts 4 Eternity store - HERE.

I chose to use a pocket scrapbook card from Studio Calico for my main focus. I die cut the "u" from Verve Visual's You and I stamp set; then I cut the "U" 6 more times from PTI's True Black card stock and layered them all together. I covered the top colorful "U" with Versamark and clear embossing powder 3 times for a really glossy shine.

Close up of the 3 layers of clear embossing powder
The main panel was layered with more black and then layered on a piece of PTI Summer Sunrise clear embossed with MFT's Diagonal Background. Added a black tab with pink stickers to say "thank"; some enamel, and some 4th generation stamping of the arrows finish it off. Thanks for stopping by; hope you have a GREAT weekend. Take care!
