Need I say more?
Don't repeat this; but he's only holding those pants and he's in his UNDIES underneath. Lord forbid I allow any skin to show - LOL
On to a fun note; the other morning this little man got up for the day and came in the bathroom where I was getting ready for work. I leaned over, kissed his head and said "son, you are getting SO TALL" (ya gotta understand, I'm not even 5' tall and DH is pretty darn short too; so there really isn't a chance of height for these babes). Anyway, he snuggled up next to me, hit me about my armpit, but of course when HE measured, he was at my shoulder - LOL. Anyway, he commented so quietly, "Mom, I don't ever remember being this tall before." My heart melted, what a sweet, sweet comment from our little man; made me laugh too; but very sweet.
Here's a picture of him all dressed up to PLAY BALL although this was NOT the same game where he tried to ruin the white pants. LOL
Hope you have a great weekend, thanks for popping in. I have lots of stamping samples to show you, just can't find the time to post!! I'm in the process of making some wedding invitations so between work, baseball/softball games and tournaments, trying to find stamping time is hard to come by.
Hugs,
~M.

Teacher Thank You's
A friend asked me to make some thank you cards for her children's teachers. I came across this paper at Michael's and LOVED it; it has such fabulous sayings on it. The base card is Bashful Blue layered with Chocolate Chip and then the DP. You can't really tell in the picture, but I distressed the edges of the DP.
The "THANK YOU" is layered on Ivory which was stamped with the linen background stamp in both Bashful Blue and 2nd generation Chocolate Chip. The DP looks just like linen, so I thought this tied it together nicely.
Here's a close up of one of the cards:
(remember, you can also click on an image to see a larger view)
My friend was thrilled with the cards; hope the teacher's are too!
Hope you've had a great weekend; hugs, ~M.

Totally Cool
Remember THIS post? Gosh, that's been ages ago. I took the images along to the various ball practices and colored them here and there with my Copic markers. I used the images and made several cards, but never posted them to my blog..till now!
Here's a view of several of the cards; what you can't tell is that the DP is 3D; it has glazed dots around the paisley's and is just so cool. I LOVE the paisley DP; in fact, I barely have any left - that's okay though; better to use it than hoard it!
The two girls chatting on the phones were cut and embossed with the rectangle nestability dies. Love those; trying to use them more.
Here's a shot of 2 of the cards and then of the one with the "floral ribbon" - isn't that ribbon adorable? For the envelope of this one card, I took 3 individual flowers and colored them with my Copics to match the card; then glued them to the envelope.
The base cards are all Bazzill paper - love that stuff! All are layered with Chocolate Chip and the DP; I used various ribbons and dew drops here and there. I purchased my dew drops from Ellen Hutson's store - I really need more of them!!
Thanks for stopping by; I'm so glad you visited!!

I sure look up to you!
Better get your sunglasses on!!!
Isn't this giraffe the cutest little guy/girl? She's from Melanie Muenchinger's newest set, "Hip Hop Accessories". Of course this set matches perfectly with the "Just So Hippy" and "Just So Hoppy" sets - check them out at Gina K Designs.
I also made this card for Sketch Challenge 173 over at SCS - another great place to get ideas!
The base card is Pixie Pink with lots and lots of layers. And actually, the little giraffe was paired with her momma, but that didn't work out, so I had to delete momma from the scene. Don't worry, I saved her so I can use her in the future. :D
Next is Chocolate Chip then YoYo Yellow (whew - bright); I stamped the Yoyo Yellow with a small flower to match the DP on the card. Then another layer of Chocolate Chip, Yoyo Yellow, some gorgeous DP - love those spring colored flowers!
My giraffe is stamped on Whisper White, layered on Pixie Pink, layered on Chocolate Chip. This is the first time I've stamped an image and added something that falls "outside" the rectangle - YEAH for me, it's a start; can't wait to try a few more things. Now don't start laughing, but I JUST bought a Coluzzle, so it'll be a bit easier to do out of the box images moving forward...at least I think it will and from Melanie's instructions my head says "I think I can, I think I can!". LOL
I colored my little giraffe friend with copic markers, added the grass from Melanie's set and then sponged some clouds. No comment on the clouds except to say I really am blonde!!!
Thanks for stopping by; I hope you like my bright, springy card! Have a fabulous week!
PS - should I talk about our DD shaving her eyebrows? Hmmm....

40 Announcements?
Wanna see what 40 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" baby announcements look like?
I cut out where the baby's name appears; but can you see those girls? Ah....they are SO STINKIN' CUTE!!!
It's hard to tell much about the announcements, but I'll give you a description so that will help with colors and images maybe. The print was done on my computer on to plain vellum which is tied on to the actual announcement. The pictures are adhered with removable adhesive so when someone receives the announcement, they can remove the pictures, rub off the adhesive and voila, they have their very own wallet photos of these cutie pies!!
The pictures are layered on Heidi Grace DP; layered on Certainly Celery and finally layered onto Pixie Pink. The vellum also has a matching 'rub-on' in the lower left-hand corner. I love the way they turned out and really didn't take too long to do once I got an assembly line going.
Here's a close-up of the announcements:
One picture has the baby laying on her older sister; the other picture is just the baby; isn't it cool how they lay towards each other? I love that!
I had a great time doing these and I hope the girls will treasure them one day and I hope those receiving the announcements enjoy their very own removable wallet photos.
Have a great week and thanks for peeking in!!

What's in Your Tin meets Comfort & Peace
Chocolate Chip, layered with This is one of the two Mother's Day cards I made recently.
The base card is beautiful pink Bazzill card stock; I love that stuff; layered with SU's Purely Pomegranate, layered with SU's Chocolate Chip, layered with SU's DP Berry Bliss. I stamped the outline image from "What's In Your Tin 2" and then stamped one of the floral images from "Comfort & Peace" inside the outline. I tried to do the thumping technique which Beate taught on SCS not too long ago, but it didn't really work out - so I tapped. :D LOL It works! The flowers are in a lighter pink and then tapped with Rose Red. I added some gorgeous chocolate satin ribbon and double-stitched Purely Pomegranate ribbon. The primas were added to cover a little "mistake" in the corner; the bottom flower was originally white - I made it chocolate. The top flower was a light pink, I made it more of the Purely Pomegranate color - you'd never know they started off as a different color.
I made one with pearls and one with rain drops on top of the DP Berry Bliss. I purchased the rain drops from Gina K's store; and this one only uses the Purely Pomegranate double-stitched ribbon. Hope the mom's receiving these cards like them!!
And for the fun of it; here's one of our labs playing 'soccer' with our DD; we were shocked to see the dog could pick up the soccer ball in her mouth; so DD HAD to have a picture of that. Note...we're using a "pink" soccer ball; are we color-coordinated OR WHAT?
LOL
Hope you've had a great weekend. Hugs, ~M.

Can Ya Dig It?
I recently purchased the "Can Ya Dig It" set from MFT and this is my first time to ink it up!
I purchased these pocket cards at Target over a year ago and have yet to use them all up; I just think they are adorable! The envelope is bright green which I stamped with "Let's Dish the Dirt" in Palette Noir.
The part of the card you write on is tucked into the pocket (pink with bright green polka dots). I stamped the girl from the Can Ya Dig It set; colored her with copic markers, added the mound of dirt and leaves; cut it all out and glued it to the pocket. Can you see the shading on her hat and dress? I'm trying; I'm really trying. :D
Here's a close up of the girl and the insert pulled out and sitting beside the pocket. I also stamped the insert with "Let's Dish the Dirt". Such a fun set; I look forward to playing with it more.
I hope you had a great week; thanks for peeking in!!
Take care, ~M.
